LEGO ROBOTICS TRAINING - Personal Coaching
1 to 4 Lego Robotics Coaching in Singapore!
Your Child will learn the basic concepts of programming and robot construction through the LEGO Mindstorms System.
Your
child will be equipped with sufficient understanding of fundamental
programming ideas and be able to construct a simple robot capable of
independent movement. You will learn about Robolab, LEGO NXT, some basic
engineering principles and problem solving skills.
The
training serves as an introduction to robotics for young kids up to
secondary school level. It is also for kids who are interested in
robotics as a hobby.
The
sessions will be conducted at the trainer’s location of preference, mainly a country club function room or a private training centre room downtown or along dover road. Mode of
coaching is one student per class with one lesson per week consisting of
two hours.
There are five sessions per month costing S$250, paid in
advance.
A Lego NXT set, playfield and laptop will be provided during
the lessons.
The participants would be able to achieve the following:
1. Able to construct a robot
2. Able to navigate the EV3 programming interface
3. Able to program the robot to move and turn
4. Able to incorporate the light sensor and program it
Total 10hrs for beginners comprising 5 sessions of 2hrs each (open to suggestions)

The Trainer's Profile:
The
Trainer has about 30 years of experience as a teacher with the MOE
before retirement. He had been the teacher in charge of the Robotics CCA
and had guided his students thru many competitions to be winners and
finalists. Currently he is still providing training in robotics for CCA
in MOE schools as an external trainer.
